In April 2022, Dr. Orungbemi was co-opted as a Parish Councillor for Stapeley and District Parish Council. Working collaboratively with fellow councillors, local organisations, and residents, she supports community development, helps improve local services, and represents the interests of the local community. Her role reflects a longstanding commitment to public service, leadership, and civic engagement.
